Boycots, Sanctions, and People Power in the Struggle for Justice

Casa Palestina invites you to an evening talk with Palestinian advocate, strategist, and entrepreneur Saleh Hijazi.

This event will explore the growing global movement for justice in Palestine through the lens of boycotts, sanctions, and people power. Drawing connections with South Africa’s anti-apartheid struggle, the talk will reflect on how international solidarity, cultural resistance, and strategic campaigning can help bring forth a transformative political moment for Palestine.

Saleh Hijazi works at the intersection of human rights, policy, cultural resilience, philanthropy, and circular bio-economy ventures. He previously served with the Palestinian BDS National Committee and spent 11 years at Amnesty International, including as MENA Deputy Regional Director. He was also co-author of Amnesty International’s report on Israeli apartheid.

Today, Saleh works on strategic partnerships for Palestinian institutions and is co-founder of ValCyc Labs and Palestine’s first mushroom farm.
